The character set is apparently not converted correctly, and accentuated characters come out instead of the lines. First is that there is a very steep incline over two parts on the straight towards the start/finish line. Also, the first two corners are on a very steep decline which makes them challenging. An interesting fact is that no corners on the track are level, so if any of the corners on your track are, they're probably wrong!

There are quite a few videos on YouTube onboard a Ford Fiesta XR2 (which is a regular series at Knockhill) which might be of use to you. I can also email you some photos I've taken over the years if you want, although it sounds like you're pretty well equipped in that department.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15359836411529651843noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1297223981709991789.post-12842467067315124492011-08-12T19:48:10.734+02:002011-08-12T19:48:10.734+02:00sorry.. I am downloading the .tar file from SpeedDreams and I ask you if this track can run properly on Torcs. I did a clon too, very simple, with "trackeditor", and I called "DryLagoon", but I never find the proper downhill on the Corkscrew chicane, this is my favorite segment of all racetracs, including the mythical EauRouge from Spa (that I made too...)

Thank you!!!

Edwin GuerraIng. Given that torcs is packaged for ubuntu, you can use apt in order to get all the build dependencies (at least the ones to build torcs like the package mantainer). You could have issued

sudo apt-get build-dep torcs

and it would have downloaded and installed all those pesky -dev libraries.Miguelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12861043473600410728noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1297223981709991789.post-11090542864976550312009-07-23T01:11:36.408+02:002009-07-23T01:11:36.408+02:00Gold.
